How does Vitruvius challenge the media stereotype of old?

Vitruvius challenges the stereotype of old people in the media as he is very skilled and powerful. This challenges the stereotype as the way old people are presented as physically incapable of doing anything close to what Vitruvius can do. Also Vitruvius is a strong minded individual, who doesn't rely on younger people to speak or fight for him. This opposes the way old people are presented as they are usually seen as someone who needs to be taken care of.
